The qualification provides an excellent progression route for care workers looking to develop their professional skills and move into senior, supervisory or management positions within the sector.
It can also contribute towards progression opportunities such as access to nursing programmes offered by many universities.
The Level 3 Diploma combines workplace learning, practical assessment and professional development to help learners demonstrate competence and progress within the health and social care sector.
Achieve a minimum of 58 credits, including 28 mandatory credits, with additional units selected to match your care setting and role.
Build a portfolio of evidence through reflective accounts, work products and practical demonstrations of competence.
You will receive workplace observations and guidance from qualified assessors, with opportunities to provide witness testimonies from supervisors
