Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Training

Building Confidence in Autism and Learning Disability Support

Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Training

ACS-UK’s Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Training is designed for health and social care professionals who work directly with individuals with learning disabilities and autism. The programme provides the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to deliver safe, inclusive, and person-centred care while meeting national training requirements. Participants gain a deeper understanding of learning disabilities and autism, effective communication strategies, safeguarding responsibilities, risk awareness, health inequalities, and approaches to promoting dignity, choice, and independence. Delivered through interactive workshops, case studies, reflective activities, and practical scenarios, the training helps frontline staff apply learning to real-world situations and improve outcomes for those they support. Upon successful completion, participants receive an Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Training Certificate, demonstrating their competency in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism safely and effectively.
