Level 2 Award in Door Supervision (QCF)
This accredited qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to work as a Door Supervisor, as it provides the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry. Subjects covered include behavioural standards, legislation relevant to the role, search procedures, powers of arrest, recording incidents and crime preservation, reducing risk, conflict management and communicating effectively.

This qualification must be undertaken over a minimum of 4 days
How is the qualification assessed?
It is divided into 4 units which are assessed through 3 multiple choice examination, a theoretical assessment and a practical assessment. The units are as follows:
Unit 1: Working as a Door Supervisor
Assessed by a 40 minutes 25 question multiple-choice exam. Learners need to score 18/25.
Unit 2: Working as a Door Supervisor
Assessed by a 1 hour 40 question multiple-choice exam. Learners need to score 28/40.
Unit 3: Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry:
Assessed by a 40 minutes 25 question multiple-choice exam. Learners need to score 18/25.
Unit 4: Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security
Assessed in two parts: Part one is a practical assessment and part two is a theoretical assessment set by the awarding body.
